Foreman
Safetech Scaffold Ltd. is currently seeking scaffold foremen to work in the Lower Mainland of BC on a temporary basis with the possibility of future full time employment. We have a great team of people working within a safety conscious environment all over the lower mainland (and occasionally other places within the province as well). Safetech will afford the qualified candidates the opportunity to work on high profile jobs in BC as well as competitive wages and healthy work environment.
GENERAL REQUIREMENTS - FOREMEN
• Local to BC
• Punctual and reliable
• Minimum 3+ years experience (references required)
• Fall protection certification
• Able to read drawings and build scaffold accordingly
• Able to work within timelines set forward by customers and management
• Able to create comprehensive equipment lists as necessary
• Excellent communication skills required to interact with customers and management.
• Valid drivers licence with clean abstract (an asset but not required)
• First Aid certification (an asset but not required)
• Hard hat and CSA approved steel toe boots
• Able to assist with training of workers
• Supervise apprentices and labourers
• Ensure safe work procedures are followed
WORKING CONDITIONS
• Must be willing and able to work outdoors in all kinds of weather conditions year round.
JOB LOCATION
• Greater Vancouver Regional District, Southern B.C., Fraser Valley and the Lower Mainland.
WAGE
Industry competitive and negotiable.
